- Yakisoba
- Stir fry noodles (Yakisoba)1 head(s)
- Cabbage50 g
- Ground pork50 g
- Salad oil1 tsp
- Water1 tbsp
- Thickened Japanese worcestershire sauce2 tbsp
- Omelet
- Eggs2
- Salt and pepper mixa pinch
- Milk2 tbsp
- Salad oil1 tsp
- Toppings
- Thickened Japanese worcestershire sauce1 tbsp
- Japanese Mayonnaise1/2 tbsp
- Dried green seaweed flakes (Aonori)as needed
How to make
- 1. Shred cabbage.
- 2. Add cooking oil to stir fry noodles (yakisoba) in a frying pan heated over medium heat and stir-fry ground pork.
- 3. When the meat is cooked through, add Step 1, yakisoba noodles and water, and stir-fry over medium heat.
- 4. Once the it gets less watery, add thickened Japanese Worcestershire sauce and stir-fry over medium heat until the flavors blend well, then remove from the heat.
- 5. Add eggs, salt, pepper, and milk into a bowl and mix well.
- 6. Add cooking oil in a pan heated over medium heat, for an omelet. Cook Step 5.
- 7. Remove Step 6 from the heat, place on Step 4, add toppings to your taste, and it's ready to serve.
Tips for cooking
If you shred cabbage, it'll be easier to cook and eat with the noodles. You can use one egg and cook it thinly as well. Sauce can substitute with Japanese Worcestershire sauce, okonomiyaki sauce, or yakisoba powder sauce other than thickened Japanese Worcestershire sauce. For senior citizens, children under the age of 2, pregnant women, and individuals with weakened immune systems, please heat the egg thoroughly and avoid eating it raw.
