Ingredients 1 onigiri
- Rice180 g
- Roasted white sesame seeds1 tsp
- Dried green seaweed flakes (Aonori)1/3 tsp
- Shiso furikake seasoning1/3 tsp
- Japanese Mayonnaise1.5 tbsp
- Seven flavor chili peppera pinch
How to make
- 1. Divide the rice into 3 equal portions, and mix each with white sesame seed, dried green seaweed flakes pack (aonori), or red shiso leaf rice seasoning (shiso furikake).
- 2. Place each Step 1 on a plastic wrap, and use your hands to press and form a triangle shape
- 3. Add and spread mayonnaise into 3 even parts on a pan with medium heat. Place Step 2 that has removed the plastic wrap on top of the mayonnaise and bake.
- 4. Once cooked until both sides have browned, remove from the heat.
- 5. Place it on a plate, sprinkle seven flavor chili pepper, and it's ready to serve.
Tips for cooking
If you don't like spicy food, please do not use seven-flavor chili pepper. This recipe is seasoned well with the saltiness of mayonnaise, but you can also add salt to rice according to your preference.
