- Konjac (Konnyaku)250 g
- (A)Cooking sake1.5 tbsp
- (A)Sugar1 tbsp
- (A)Soy sauce1 tbsp
- (A)Sliced Japanese chili peppers (Takanotsume)1/2 tsp
- Sesame oil2 tsp
- bonito flakes4 g
How to make
- Prepare. Parboil konjac according to the instructions on the package to remove the bitterness.
- 1. Tear konjac into bite-sized pieces with a spoon.
- 2. Heat the sesame oil in a pan and stir-fry Step 1 over high heat.
- 3. Add ingredient (A) and stir-fry over medium heat.
- 4. When the liquid has evaporated, add bonito flakes, stir-fry over medium heat, and remove from the heat. Transfer to a plate and it's ready to serve.
Tips for cooking
If you stir-fry konjac well until it makes a "crackling" sound and until there's no liquid, then add the seasonings, the flavor will soak in and it will be delicious. *You must be of legal drinking age to consume alcoholic beverages.
