- Bean sprouts100 g
- Carrot40 g
- Water400 ml
- Miso1.5 tbsp
- Japanese style granulated soup stock1/2 tsp
How to make
- Prepare. Remove the bean sprout root hair. Peel the carrot.
- 1. Cut the carrot into thin strips.
- 2. Put water and Japanese style granulated soup stock in a pot, heat ot over medium heat, and bring it to a boil.
- 3. Add Step 1 and the bean sprouts, cover it with a lid, and simmer it over medium heat for about 3 minutes until the carrot is cooked through.
- 4. Reduce the heat to low, dissolve in the miso, and remove it from the heat just before boiling.
- 5. Transfer to bowls and it's ready to serve.
Tips for cooking
The salt content of miso varies depending on the manufacturer, so please adjust the amount of miso to your liking. When you boil the miso, the flavor will be gone, so remove it from the heat just before boiling.
