- Sweet potato350 g
- Wateras needed
- Tempura flour50 g
- Water80 ml
- Black ground sesame2 tbsp
- Frying oilas needed
- Rock salta pinch
How to make
- Prepare. Pour 1-inch depth of frying oil into the pot, and heat to 180°C (360°F).
- 1. Cut the sweet potatoes into 0.4-inch strips, soak in water for about 5 minutes, and drain.
- 2. Mix the tempura flour, water, and black ground sesame well.
- 3. Dip Step 1 into Step 2, deep-fry in the frying oil at 180°C (360°F) until golden brown, serve it with rock salt on a plate, and it's ready to serve.
Tips for cooking
We used a sweet potato this time, but please use whatever kind you like. We used some black ground sesame for the color, but you can substitute it with some white ground sesame.
