- Stir fry noodles (Yakisoba)1 head(s)
- Cabbage150 g
- Pork belly100 g
- Ketchup3 tbsp
- Salad oil1/2 tbsp
- Dried green seaweed flakes (Aonori)as needed
How to make
- 1. Cut cabbage into strips.
- 2. Cut pork belly into 1-inch wide pieces.
- 3. Heat cooking oil in pan over medium heat. Add the pork belly from Step 2 and stir-fry. When the pork belly is cooked through, add the cabbage from Step 1 and stir-fry. Cover with a lid and steam cook for about 2 minutes.
- 4. When the cabbage is cooked through, add the yakisoba noodles and stir-fry. Add ketchup and stir-fry over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat when everything is mixed together.
- 5. Serve on a plate, sprinkle some dried green seaweed flakes (aonori) and it is ready!
Tips for cooking
You can substitute thinly sliced pork for pork belly. If you burn off the liquid when stir-frying after adding ketchup, the acidity will also burn off and it'll come out delicious.
