- Broccoli300 g
- Batter
- Tempura flour100 g
- Water160 ml
- Frying oilas needed
- Salt1/2 tsp
How to make
- 1. Cut off the stem of the broccoli and cut it into florets.
- 2. Add tempura flour and water into a bowl, mix well until there are no lumps, then add the broccoli from Step 1 and toss around to cover.
- 3. Add frying oil until it reaches 2-inch from the bottom of the pot, heat to 170°C (340°F), and add the coated broccoli from Step 2. Fry for about 4 minutes until they're lightly colored, then drain the oil.
- 4. Serve on a dish, garnish with salt and it is ready! Put some salt on and enjoy!
Tips for cooking
The frying time depends on the size of the broccoli, so please adjust the time accordingly. By thoroughly wiping off the moisture from the broccoli, it will prevent the the batter from coming off when fried.
