- Grilled fish cake (Yaki-chikuwa)2
- (A)Tempura flour3 tbsp
- (A)Cold water3 tbsp
- (A)Dried green seaweed flakes (Aonori)2 tsp
- Frying oilas needed
How to make
- 1. Cut fish cake (chikuwa) in half lengthwise and cut into 2-inch lengths.
- 2. Add (A) in a bowl, mix, and coat Step 1 with it.
- 3. Heat about 2-inch of oil in a frying-pot to 180℃ (356°F), and add Step 2. Deep-fry for about 2 minutes, and remove once it gets a golden brown color, then drain off the oil.
- 4. Arrange on a plate and it's ready to serve.
