- Japanese leek1/2
- Chinese chive10 g
- Water400 ml
- Japanese style granulated soup stock1 tsp
- Miso1 tbsp
- White ground sesameas needed
How to make
- 1. Cut Japanese leek diagonally into 0.4-inch wide pieces. Cut Chinese chives into 1-inch wide pieces.
- 2. Put water, Japanese-style granulated soup stock, and Step 1 into a pot and heat over medium heat.
- 3. When the Japanese leeks have softened, the heat is reduced to low, melt miso, and remove from the heat.
- 4. Serve on a dish, sprinkle with white ground sesame, and it is ready.
Tips for cooking
You can use white roasted sesame seeds instead of white ground sesame. Please adjust the amount of miso to your liking. Miso loses its flavor quickly, so please melt it right before eating.
