How to make
- Prepare. Remove the stems from the bing cherries.
- 1. Put the dough ingredients in a bowl and mix together.
- 2. Pour cooking oil into a pan heated over medium heat, pour in Step 1, and spread it out to about 4-inch in diameter.
- 3. When bubbles appear on the surface, flip it and cook until heated through. Make a total of 10 slices in the same way.
- 4. Make custard cream. Sift cake flour (pastry flour) and granulated sugar into a large heatproof bowl and mix well, adding milk little by little.
- 5. Cover loosely with plastic wrap and microwave for 2 minutes and 30 seconds at 600 W. After removing, quickly stir with a whisk.
- 6. Cover loosely with plastic wrap again and heat in a 600 W microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Take it out, add the egg yolks and mix quickly. Cover loosely with plastic wrap again and heat for another 30 seconds.
- 7. Spread thinly on a tray and make the plastic wrap stick to it. Place in a large tray with ice water and chill.
- 8. Place the bing cherries, granulated sugar, and lemon juice in a separate large heatproof bowl, cover loosely with plastic wrap, and microwave for 2 minutes at 600 W.
- 9. Take it out, mix, then repeat Step 8 twice until the sugar is dissolved and the bing cherries are soft.
- 10. Alternate layers of Step 3 and 7 on the plate, spread the top layer with Step 7, top with Step 9, sprinkle the remaining sauce and powdered sugar from Step 9, and decorate with mint. It is ready.
Tips for cooking
Heating conditions may vary depending on the type of microwave, the type of heat-resistant container, and the condition of the ingredients. Please check the condition and adjust the heating time as necessary. The custard cream must be mixed quickly when adding the egg yolks, otherwise it will fail. If you are worried, beat the egg yolk well first. Elderly people, infants under 2 years of age, pregnant women, and anyone with a compromised immune system should avoid eating raw eggs. The seeds of the bing cherry are not removed, but to remove them, place them out in a strainer and use a rubber spatula.
