How to make
- 1. Put ingredient (A) in a bowl, pour hot water over the dry yeast, and mix together.
- 2. When the mixture is no longer powdery and comes together, add olive oil and mix well.
- 3. When the olive oil is fully absorbed, place the dough on a table and knead until the color is even and the surface is smooth.
- 4. Place Step 3 in a bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Using the oven's fermentation function, ferment at 40°C (100°F) for 25 minutes until it has doubled in size. After fermentation, preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
- 5. Peel the garlic, cut it in half, and mash it with the side of a knife.
- 6. Roughly chop the onion.
- 7. Heat olive oil and Step 5 in a pan over low heat, and when the garlic starts to smell, add Step 6 and fry until tender.
- 8. Add the canned diced tomatoes and sugar, simmer until water is reduced to 2/3 its volume, and season with salt and pepper mix.
- 9. Place Step 4 on a parchment paper, and spread it into a circle about 8-inch in diameter and 0.2-inch thick.
- 10. Spread Step 8 on top, cover with shredded pizza cheese, and bake in an oven at 200°C (390°F) for 10 minutes.
- 11. When the cheese has melted and browned nicely, remove from the oven, top with basil, and it is ready.
Tips for cooking
Please make sure to preheat the oven before baking. If the oven does not have a preheating function, set the temperature and heat for 10 minutes before baking. The strength of the heat may vary depending on the type of oven and the period of use. Please make sure to follow the recipe as a guide but adjust the baking time as needed. If it browns too fast, cover it with aluminum foil. This time, we added a lot of olive oil, so it won't stick, but please dust it with flour (plain flour) if necessary.
