Ingredients 2 servings
- Canned mackerel in brine150 g
- Japanese leek1/2
- Water400 ml
- (A)White miso (Shiro miso)2 tsp
- (A)Grated ginger2 tsp
- (A)Japanese style granulated soup stock1 tsp
How to make
- 1. Cut Japanese leeks into 0.4-inch wide slices.
- 2. Add water, canned mackerel in brine and Step 1 in a pot, heat over medium heat, and boil for about 2 minutes.
- 3. Add (A) over medium heat, and when the miso has dissolved, remove from heat.
- 4. Serve in a bowl and it's ready to eat.
Tips for cooking
Please use canned mackerel with the juice. You can substitute green onions for Japanese leeks. You can cook your favorite miso.
