  • Water
    100 ml
  • (A)Soy sauce
    1 tbsp
  • (A)Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)
    1 tbsp
  • (A)Japanese style granulated soup stock
    1 tsp

How to make

  1. 1. Cut off the bok choy base and cut it into 2-inch width pieces.
  2. 2. Cut the deep-fried thick tofu (atsuage) into 0.8-inch width pieces.
  3. 3. Heat water and the ingredient (A) in a pot over medium heat. When it boils, add Step 2, cover it with a lid, and simmer it for about 5 minutes.
  4. 4. Add Step 1, reduce the heat to low, and cook for about 1 minute, then remove it from the heat once the flavors have been absorbed.
  5. 5. Transfer to a bowl and it's ready to serve.
