- Chuck roll200 g
- Onion1
- Shimeji mushrooms50 g
- Japanese mustard spinach50 g
- Sukiyaki Sauce (Warishita)
- Soy sauce50 ml
- Cooking sake50 ml
- Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)50 ml
- Sugar1 tbsp
- Beaten eggs2
How to make
- Prepare. Remove the hard tip of shimeji mushroom and break it with your hands.
- 1. Cut onion in half and cut into 0.8-inch pieces. Cut off the root of Japanese mustard spinach and cut into 2-inch pieces.
- 2. Place in the order of Step 1 and shimeji mushrooms into a pot, spread out chuck roll, add ingredients for Kanto-style sukiyaki sauce (warishita), cover with a lid, and heat over medium heat.
- 3. Simmer for about 15 minutes until the color of the chuck roll changes, when everything is cooked through, remove from the heat.
- 4. Serve with beaten eggs and it's ready.
