Ingredients 2 servings
- Rice300 g
- Salted mackerel1 sheets
- Sesame oil1 tbsp
- Green shiso leaves3 sheets
- Ginger30 g
- Roasted white sesame seeds1.5 tbsp
- Vinegar Mix
- Vinegar3 tbsp
- Sugar1 tbsp
- Salt1/4 tsp
- Nori seaweedas needed
How to make
- 1. Remove the stems from the green shiso leaves and coarsely chop.
- 2. Coarsely chop the ginger.
- 3. Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat, add the salted mackerel, and cook over medium heat for about 7 minutes until cooked through. Remove from heat, remove the skin and bones, and break up the fish meat.
- 4. Add the blended vinegar to a pot and bring to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat and let it cool.
- 5. Put the rice in a bowl, pour in Step 4, and slice through the rice.
- 6. Add the Step 1, 2, 3, and white roasted sesame seeds, then mix everything together.
- 7. Serve on a plate, sprinkle with nori seaweed, and it is ready.
Tips for cooking
Please adjust the amount of salt to your taste. Salted mackerel is also delicious when grilled on a fish grill. Please adjust the amount of sugar in the blended vinegar to your taste.
