How to make
- 1. Put the egg mixture ingredients into a bowl and mix with a whisk.
- 2. Place the sponge cake (Castella) on a tray, add Step 1 and soak for about 3 minutes.
- 3. Melt the salted butter in a pan heated over medium heat, then cook Step 2 over low heat for about 5 minutes until both sides are thoroughly browned, then remove from heat.
- 4. Serve on a plate, decorate with toppings, and it is ready.
Tips for cooking
If the temperature is high, it will burn easily, so please cook it slowly over low heat. The outside will be crispy and the inside will be fluffy. For senior citizens, children under the age of 2, pregnant women, and individuals with weakened immune systems, please avoid eating raw eggs.
