- Chicken breast250 g
- Salt and pepper mixa pinch
- Starch3 tbsp
- Tomato1
- Carrot20 g
- Lettuce200 g
- Mesclun greens50 g
- Radish sprouts30 g
- (A)Soy sauce1 tbsp
- (A)Vinegar2 tsp
- (A)Sesame oil2 tsp
- (A)Salt and pepper mixa pinch
How to make
- Prepare. Remove the stems from the tomatoes. Make cuts in the chicken breasts to even out the thickness.
- 1. Cut off the roots of the radish sprouts.
- 2. Thinly slice the carrots with a peeler.
- 3. Cut the tomatoes into 8 wedges.
- 4. Sprinkle salt and pepper mix on both sides of the chicken breasts and coat all sides with starch.
- 5. Pour frying oil to a height of about 2-inch from the bottom of the pan, heat to 170°C (340°F), add Step 4 and fry for about 6 minutes. Once it is cooked through, drain the oil and let it cool for about 1 minute.
- 6. Reduce the temperature of the frying oil in Step 5 to 190°C (375°F) and fry again for about 2 minutes. When it turns golden brown, drain the oil and cut into bite-size pieces.
- 7. Tear the lettuce into bite-size pieces in a bowl, add the mesclun greens and Step 2, mix together, and serve in a bowl.
- 8. Top with Step 3 and 6.
- 9. Put ingredient (A) in a separate bowl and mix together.
- 10. Decorate Step 1 on Step 8 and pour on Step 9, then it is ready.
Tips for cooking
The dressing is Japanese style based on soy sauce. If you like Western style, you can also enjoy tartar sauce. Please find the perfect dressing you like. As for vegetables, bell pepper (red or yellow) and shredded cabbage are also delicious, so please try them.
