- Rice180 g
- Onion60 g
- Japanese green bell pepper (Piman)1
- Ham4 sheets
- (A)Ketchup1 tbsp
- (A)Soy sauce1/2 tsp
- (A)Salt and pepper mix1 three finger pinch
- Salted butter15 g
- 薄焼き卵
- Eggs2
- Milk1 tbsp
- Starch1 tsp
- Salt1 three finger pinch
- Salad oil1/2 tbsp
- Ketchup2 tbsp
- Parsleyas needed
How to make
- Prepare. Remove the stem and seeds of the bell peppers.
- 1. Mince the onion and bell peppers. Cut the ham into 5 mm (0.2-inch) sized squares.
- 2. Crack the egg into a bowl and beat them. Add milk, starch and salt then mix further.
- 3. Put cooking oil into pan heated over medium heat, pour in the egg mixture from 2 and spread it all over pan. When the surface of the egg is cooked, take it out onto a plastic wrap.
- 4. Melt salted butter using the same pan, add ingredient (1) and stir-fry over medium heat. When the onions become wilted, add the rice and stir-fry again. When the rice has loosened, add ingredient (A) and adjust the taste.
- 5. Put the rice from Step 4 onto the thin omelet made in Step 3 and wrap.
- 6. Serve the omelet from Step 5 on a plate, add some ketchup on top and garnish with parsley. Now it is ready!
Tips for cooking
You can adjust the amount of salt to your liking. Adding starch to the eggwash will make it harder to tear. For senior citizens, children under the age of 2, pregnant women, and individuals with weakened immune systems, please avoid eating raw eggs.
