- Konjac (Konnyaku)200 g
- Hot wateras needed
- Japanese BBQ sauce (Yakiniku sauce)2 tbsp
- Young green onion (Konegi)as needed
How to make
- 1. Boil water in a pot, add konjac, and parboil for about 5 minutes, drain, and cool.
- 2. Make a cut in a grid shape and cut it into 4 equal pieces.
- 3. Heat pan over medium heat, add Step 2 without oil and stir-fry.
- 4. Once the water from konjac has evaporated, add Japanese BBQ sauce (yakiniku sauce) and stir-fry, then remove from heat once the sauce is absorbed entirely.
- 5. Transfer to a plate, sprinkle with young green onion (konegi), and it's ready to serve.
Tips for cooking
Please use yakiniku sauce you like. By evaporating the moisture from konjac properly, yakiniku sauce will blend well and is going to be delicious. *You must be of legal drinking age to consume alcoholic beverages.
