- Rice200 g
- Salted butter15 g
- (A)Ketchup3 tbsp
- (A)Granulated Japanese consomme soup stock1 tsp
- Salad oil1 tbsp
- Eggs2
- Sliced cheese1 sheets
- Grilled nori seaweedas needed
- Ketchupa pinch
How to make
- Prepare. Make facial parts with sliced cheese and grilled nori seaweed.
- 1. Add the butter into the pan heated over medium heat. Add the rice and stir-fry. Once the butter blends in with the rice, add ingredient (A) and stir-fry over medium heat until it blends together.
- 2. Divide the rice from Step 1 into ears, face, main body, arms and legs. Wrap each part in a plastic wrap to shape it.
- 3. Crack the eggs into a bowl, beat it, and strain it using a strainer.
- 4. Place cooking oil in a heated pan over medium heat, pour in the eggs from Step 3 and cook.
- 5. Place the shaped rice from Step 2 on a plate and put the cooked eggs from Step 4 on top. Finish it up by placing the face parts made of sliced cheese, ketchup and grilled nori seaweed. Now it is ready to be served!
Tips for cooking
You can adjust the amount of granulated Japanese consomme soup stock to your liking. Straining the eggs allows it to be cooked nicely, but this step is not necessary.
