How to make
- 1. Cut off a core of cabbage and shred it. Coarsely chop oden daikon radish and square fishcake used in oden (oden hanpen).
- 2. Put Step 1, red pickled ginger and cake flour (pastry flour) into a bowl and mix them together. Once they are well blended, add an egg and oden broth and mix them together.
- 3. Heat a pan over medium heat, lightly coat it with cooking oil using a paper towel, add Step 2, and cook. Once browned, turn the pan over, cover it with a lid, and cook on low heat for about 5 minutes until cooked through. Then, please remove it from the heat.
- 4. Serve on a plate, spread okonomiyaki sauce over the entire dish, pour mayonnaise, pattern with a toothpick, cover with bonito flakes and dried green seaweed flakes (aonori), and it's ready.
