- Cooking sake1 tbsp
- Thinly sliced pork70 g
- Cabbage70 g
- Bean sprouts50 g
- Carrot30 g
- (A)Soy sauce1 tbsp
- (A)Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)1/2 tbsp
- (A)Japanese style granulated soup stock1 tsp
- Salad oil1 tbsp

How to make
- Prepare. Peel carrots and set aside.
- 1. Cut cabbage into chunks. Cut carrots into stripes.
- 2. Heat a pan over medium heat, add cooking oil, and stir-fry hashed pork.
- 3. When the color changes, add Step 1 and bean sprouts, and stir-fry over medium heat.
- 4. When carrots become soft, add stir fry noodles (yakisoba), add cooking sake, and stir-fry over medium heat while loosening the noodles.
- 5. Add (A) and stir-fry over medium heat. When all the flavors are well blended and the hashed pork is cooked through, remove from heat.
- 6. Place on a plate and garnish with bonito flakes and red pickled ginger.
Tips for cooking
Adding cooking sake in Step 4 helps to loosen noodles and remove the smell of ingredients. You can enjoy yakisoba with mayonnaise or dried green seaweed flakes (aonori) as a topping to your taste.
