- Potato200 g
- Wateras needed
- Spinach2
- Thin-sliced half sized bacon4 sheets
- Olive oil1 tbsp
- Salt and pepper mixas needed
- (A)Japanese Mayonnaise2 tbsp
- (A)Salt and pepper mixas needed
- Black pepperas needed
- Bell pepper (red or yellow) powderas needed
How to make
- 1. Remove sprouts from potatoes, put them in a pot with the skin on, pour enough water to cover them, and heat over medium heat.
- 2. Simmer over medium heat until a bamboo skewer comes through.
- 3. Roughly chop spinach.
- 4. Slice thin-sliced half sized bacon into thin strips.
- 5. Heat 1/2 Tbs of olive oil in a pan, stir-fry Step 3 over medium heat, season with salt and pepper mix, and take them out.
- 6. Heat 1/2 Tbs of olive oil in a pan, add Step 4, and stir-fry over low heat until crispy.
- 7. Let Step 2 cool, peel the skin, place in a bowl, and mash with a fork.
- 8. Add Step 5 and 6, mix ingredient (A) to taste, and it's ready. Add black pepper and bell pepper (red or yellow) powder to your liking.
Tips for cooking
Potatoes can be boiled or steamed with the skin on to bring out the deliciousness. Slow heating is another trick that brings out the sweetness. You can heat it in the microwave, but if you have time, try boiling it.
