- Chicken breast300 g
- (A)Water100 ml
- (A)Salt1 tsp
- (A)Sugar1 tsp
- Base Seasoning
- Beaten eggs1
- Sake2 tbsp
- Soy sauce2 tbsp
- Salt1 tsp
- Grated garlic1 tsp
- Grated ginger1 tsp
- White peppera pinch
- Starch4 tbsp
- Frying oilas needed
- Boston lettuceas needed
How to make
- 1. Spread chicken breast. Use a fork to poke both sides. Shave into bite-sized pieces.
- 2. Add Step 1 and (A) to a bowl, mix them together, cover with plastic wrap, and let it sit in refrigerator for about 15 minutes, then drain with a strainer.
- 3. Add Step 2 and the marinade ingredients to a bowl, mix them together, and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
- 4. Pour 1-inch depth of frying oil into a pot, and heat to 190℃ (370°F).
- 5. Coat Step 3 with starch and deep-fry for about 4 minutes until cooked through, then remove and drain the oil.
- 6. Spread Boston lettuce on a plate, arrange Step 5, and it's ready to serve,
Tips for cooking
Please marinate it longer if you want to season well. When you cut the chicken breast, try to cut off the grains. It gives a better texture.
