Ingredients 6 pieces
- Sushi Rice
- Rice300 g
- Vinegar2 tbsp
- Sugar1 tbsp
- Salt1/2 tsp
- Roasted white sesame seeds2 tsp
- Deep Fried Tofu Pockets (Inari)
- Thin fried tofu (Abura-age)3 sheets
- Sugar2 tbsp
- Soy sauce2 tbsp
- Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)1/2 tbsp
- Water100 ml
How to make
- Prepare. For thin fried tofu (abura-age), pour hot water to drain the oil.
- 1. Cut abura-age in half.
- 2. Mix all the ingredients for inari in a pot and bring to a boil over high heat.
- 3. Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, let it cool down, put it in a tupperware, and let it rest in the refrigerator for half a day.
- 4. Put sushi rice ingredients in a bowl and let it blend.
- 5. Fill Step 3 with Step 4 and serve on a plate, and it's ready.
Tips for cooking
Please adjust the amount of salt to your liking. If you want some sweetness, please adjust the amount of sugar you put in sushi rice. You can also substitute black roasted sesame seeds for white roasted sesame seeds.
