- Japanese green bell pepper (Piman)4
- Cake flour (Pastry flour)1 tbsp

- Water60 ml
- Black roasted sesame seeds2 tsp
- Salt1/2 tsp
How to make
- Prepare. Remove the core of the green bell peppers.
- 1. Cut the green bell peppers into 0.4-inch pieces.
- 2. Mix the batter ingredients in a bowl.
- 3. Dust Step 1 with cake flour (pastry flour) and dip into Step 2.
- 4. Pour 1-inch depth of frying oil to a pan and heat to 190℃ (374°F). Add Step 3, deep fry for about 3 minutes, and once the batter gets crispy, drain off the oil.
- 5. Serve on a plate and it's ready to eat.
Tips for cooking
Please adjust the amount of salt to your taste. You can substitute black roasted sesame seeds and salt with sesame salt. Coat the green bell peppers with cake flour (pastry flour) to prevent the batter from peeling off.
