Ingredients 2 pieces
- Rice300 g
- Nori seaweed1 sheets
- Bonito Flake Seasoning (Okaka)
- (A)bonito flakes6 g
- (A)Sugar2 tsp
- (A)Soy sauce2 tsp
- (A)Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)2 tsp
- (A)Sake2 tsp
- Roasted white sesame seeds1 tsp
How to make
- 1. Cut nori seaweed with scissors and divide it into 4 equal parts.
- 2. Add (A) to the pan and stir-fry over medium heat.
- 3. Remove from heat when the liquid has evaporated.
- 4. Shape the rice into a size that is easy to eat, make a dent in the center, roll nori seaweed, and put Step 3 on top.
- 5. Arrange Step 4 on a plate, put white roasted sesame seeds on top, and it's ready to serve.
Tips for cooking
You can substitute black roasted sesame seeds for white roasted sesame seeds. This time we used it as a topping for Japanese rice balls (onigiri), but you can also use it as a furikake rice seasoning and enjoy it.
