- Stir fry noodles (Yakisoba)1 head(s)
- Sesame oil2 tsp
- Seafood mix100 g
- Bok choy1
- Japanese leek10 cm
- (A)Cooking sake2 tsp
- (A)Soy sauce2 tsp
- (A)Oyster sauce2 tsp
- (A)Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)1 tsp
- (A)Salt1 three finger pinch
- (A)Black pepper1 three finger pinch
- Sesame oil1 tbsp
How to make
- Prepare. Defrost the seafood mix as indicated on the package and pat dry.
- 1. Cut off the root of a bok choy and roughly chop.
- 2. Cut Japanese leek diagonally into 0.2-inch wide pieces.
- 3. Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat, add stir-fry noodles (yakisoba), and fry until browned, then remove once.
- 4. Add sesame oil again in the same pan and fry the seafood mix, Step 1, and 2 over high heat.
- 5. Once the seafood mix is cooked through, add Step 3 and ingredient (A) and fry them together over high heat. When the flavors have blended, serve on a plate, and it is ready.
Tips for cooking
Adjust the amount of seasoning to your liking. By stir-frying the noodles first, you prevent the seafood mix from overcooking and improve the noodles' texture.
