- Sake1 slice(s)
- Salta pinch
- (A)White miso (Shiro miso)50 g
- (A)Cooking sake1 tbsp
- (A)Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)1 tbsp
- Salad oil1 tsp
- Garnish
- Sweet pickled gingeras needed
How to make
- 1. Sprinkle salt on both sides of the salmon and leave for 5 minutes.
- 2. Put ingredient (A) in a bowl and mix with a whisk.
- 3. Wipe off the moisture from Step 1 with a paper towel, put in Step 2, cover with plastic wrap, put in the refrigerator and marinate for about 30 minutes.
- 4. Add cooking oil to a pan heated over medium heat, add Step 3 with the excess miso removed, and cook. Once browned, flip it, reduce the heat to low, and cook until heated through, then remove from the heat.
- 5. Serve Step 4 in a bowl, garnish with sweet pickled ginger, and it is ready.
Tips for cooking
Sprinkle salt on the salmon before soaking it in miso to remove the fishy smell. Wipe off any excess moisture. Miso burns easily, so remove excess miso and bake it.
