Miso Soup with Chinese Chives and Eggs - Recipe Video

- Chinese chive50 g
- Eggs1
- (A)Water350 ml
- (A)Japanese style granulated soup stock1 tsp
- (A)Grated ginger1 tsp
- Miso2 tbsp
How to make
- 1. Cut the roots of Chinese leek and slice into 2-inch width pieces.
- 2. Crack the eggs into a bowl and beat them with long chopsticks.
- 3. Add (A) to a pot and slightly bring to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, add Step 1 and bring to a boil.
- 4. When the Chinese chive is cooked, reduce heat to low, add Step 2, and stir with long chopsticks. After that, add miso and dissolve it, once it comes to a boil, remove it from heat, serve in bowls, and it's ready to serve.
Tips for cooking
Please adjust the amount of salt to your taste. We used Japanese style granulated soup stock this time, but you can substitute it with first dashi (Ichiban-dashi)
