  • Chicken thigh

  • Cake flour (Pastry flour)

  • Green beans

  • Cooking sake
    2 tbsp
  • Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)
    2 tbsp
  • Soy sauce
    2 tbsp
  • Sugar
    1 tsp
  • Salad oil
    1 tbsp
  • Roasted white sesame seeds
    as needed

How to make

  1. Prepare. Remove the tips and string from green beans.
  2. 1. Cut green beans in half.
  3. 2. Cut chicken thigh into bite-sized pieces and coat them with cake flour (pastry flour).
  4. 3. Add the sauce ingredients to a bowl and mix together.
  5. 4. Place cooking oil in a medium-heated pan and cook Step 2. Once browned, cover with a lid, and cook over low heat for about 6 minutes.
  6. 5. Once chicken thigh is cooked through, add Step 1 and 3 and mix in the sauce over medium heat.
  7. 6. Once the flavors have blended, remove from the heat and transfer to a plate. Sprinkle with white roasted sesame seeds, and it's ready to serve.
