  • Thinly sliced pork
    200 g
  • Japanese baby cheese

  • Salt and pepper mix

  • Cake flour (Pastry flour)
    1 tbsp
  • Beaten eggs

  • Panko-breadcrumbs
    20 g
  • Frying oil
    as needed
  • Thickened Japanese worcestershire sauce
    1 tbsp
  • Mesclun greens
    as needed

How to make

  1. 1. Cut Japanese baby cheese in half.
  2. 2. Divide the thinly sliced pork into 8 equal parts, wrap Step 1 with it, and sprinkle with salt and pepper mix.
  3. 3. Coat in the order of cake flour (pastry flour), beaten egg, and panko breadcrumbs.
  4. 4. Pour 1-inch depth of frying oil into a pot, heat to 170℃ (338°F), and add Step 3. Deep-fry for about 5 minutes until cooked through and browned, then drain the oil.
  5. 5. Serve on a plate with mesclun greens arranged, serve with thickened Japanese Worcestershire sauce, and it's ready to serve.

Tips for cooking

Please wrap the thinly sliced pork tightly so that the cheese doesn't come out, then coat it with batter.
