- Chicken tender4
- (A)Cooking sake2 tsp
- (A)Salt1 three finger pinch
- Starch2 tbsp
- Sauce
- Soy sauce1 tbsp
- Sugar1 tbsp
- Water1 tbsp
- Lemon juice2 tsp
- Salad oil2 tbsp
- Tomato2 slice(s)
- Red-leaf lettuceas needed
How to make
- Prepare. Remove the tendon from chicken tender.
- 1. Rub ingredient (A) into chicken tender and coat starch evenly.
- 2. Add cooking oil and Step 1 to a pan. When it browns, turn it over and cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, then take it out when chicken tender is cooked through.
- 3. Clean the same pan with a paper towel, add the sauce ingredients, mix them together, and heat over medium heat. Once the sugar has dissolved, add Step 2 back in, and remove from the heat once the seasoning is incorporated.
- 4. Serve on a plate with red-leaf lettuce and tomato on top, and it's ready to serve.
Tips for cooking
We used Japanese lemon this time. If you are concerned of fungicide on lemon, please use the lemon without fungicide. Please adjust the amount of lemon juice to your liking.
