How to make

  1. Prepare. Line the parchment paper on a mold. Preheat the oven to 180°C (360°F).
  2. 1. Put the ingredient (A) in a bowl, warm it in hot water, and heat it until the honey is soft.
  3. 2. Put the eggs and the caster sugar in a separate bowl, and whisk with a hand mixer while warming it with hot water. Remove it from the hot water when the mixture is warm to the skin. Whisk until a ribbon-like streak forms when dripping from the top.
  4. 3. Sift in the bread flour and mix it quickly with a whisk.
  5. 4. Add Step 1 and mix it with a whisk.
  6. 5. Add the crystal sugar into the mold and spread it all over.
  7. 6. Pour Step 4 into the mold from a slightly higher position, stick the long chopsticks into the batter, move it up and down, left and right to remove the air, and bake it in the oven at 180°C (360°F) for 15 minutes.
  8. 7. Lower the temperature of the oven to 160°C (320°F) and bake it for 40 minutes. If the batter doesn't come out when you stick the bamboo skewer, it's ready. Remove it from the mold, wrap it in plastic wrap, let it cool down, and it's ready.

Tips for cooking

You can make it without the crystal sugar. Before baking, please remove the huge air with the long chopsticks properly. Please make sure to preheat the oven before baking. If the oven does not have a preheating function, set the temperature and heat for 10 minutes before baking. The strength of the heat may vary depending on the type of oven and the period of use. Please make sure to follow the recipe as a guide but adjust the baking time as needed. If it browns too fast, cover it with aluminum foil. This recipe uses honey. Please be careful not to let children below the age of 1 (infants) consume them. You can substitute honey with sugar, but since the sweetness varies depending on the type, we recommend adjusting the taste to your liking.
