  • Konjac (Konnyaku)
    220 g
  • (A)Miso
    2 tbsp
  • (A)Sugar
    2 tbsp
  • (A)Cooking sake
    1 tbsp
  • (A)Vinegar
    1.5 tbsp
  • Japanese mustard paste
    1 tsp

How to make

  1. Prepare. Heat cooking sake, let the alcohol evaporate, and rest it.
  2. 1. Cut konjac into bite-size pieces.
  3. 2. Boil water in a pot and boil konjac.
  4. 3. In a bowl, mix together ingredient (A) and Japanese mustard paste.
  5. 4. Place konjac in a bowl, pour over Step 3 and it's ready to serve.

Tips for cooking

You can cut konjac into any size or shape you like. Even when you use a konjac with the scum removed, please boil it and heat it. After boiling, drain the water well before use. You can also eat vinegared miso deliciously without Japanese mustard.
