- Potato200 g
- Carrot100 g
- Water700 ml
- Salt1/2 tsp
- Seasoned and steamed chicken breast100 g
- Boiled egg1
- Pickles40 g
- Green peas40 g
- (A)Japanese Mayonnaise60 g
- (A)Salt1 three finger pinch
- (A)Black pepper1 three finger pinch
- Parsleyas needed
How to make
- Prepare. Remove the potato eyes. Drain green peas.
- 1. Add water, salt, potatoes, and carrots in a pot over medium heat. Bring to a boil, cover with a lid, and boil over low heat for about 20 minutes.
- 2. When the potatoes get softer, drain with a strainer, peel, and cut into 0.4-inch cubes.
- 3. Cut the salad chicken and boiled egg into 0.4-inch cubes.
- 4. Mince the pickles.
- 5. Put Step 2, 3, 4, and green peas in a bowl, then add ingredient (A) and mix together.
- 6. When everything is mixed, place it on a plate, decorate it with parsley, and it's ready to serve.
Tips for cooking
Please adjust the amount of seasoning to your liking. Boil the potatoes and carrots entirely to make them smooth and moist. If you don't have time, you can also boil them after cutting them. Depending on the size of the pot, fill it with enough water to cover it.
