- Baby corn6
- Tempura flour50 g
- Water80 ml
- Frying oilas needed
How to make
- 1. In a bowl, mix tempura flour and water with a whisk until it's no longer powdery.
- 2. Add baby corn and coat it all over.
- 3. Pour 1-inch depth of frying oil into a pot, heat to 170℃ (338°F), add Step 2, fry for about 3 minutes until the batter gets crispy, then drain off the oil.
- 4. Serve on a plate, and it's ready.
Tips for cooking
To check the right temperature, put a little bit of batter in oil. If the batter sinks and rises in the middle of the pan without touching the bottom, it shows that it's ready to deep-fry.
