French Toast Sandwich of Sweet Onion and Tuna Flakes - Recipe Video

- Sandwich bread (6 slice pack, 2cm width)4 sheets
- Sweet onion1/2
- (A)Canned tuna flakes1 can
- (A)Japanese Mayonnaise2 tbsp
- (A)Ketchup1 tsp
- (A)bonito flakesa pinch
- Shredded pizza cheezeas needed
- (B)Eggs2
- (B)Milk4 tbsp
- (B)Salt1/2 tsp
- Salted butter15 g
- Mesclun greensas needed
- Cherry tomato2
How to make
- Prepare. Peel sweet onion. Beat the eggs.
- 1. Chop sweet onion.
- 2. Mix Step 1 and ingredient (A) together in a bowl and mix well.
- 3. Add ingredient (B) to a tray and mix together.
- 4. Place Step 2 on white breads.
- 5. Place shredded pizza cheese on Step 4.
- 6. Cover Step 5 with white bread and push down so that there is no gap in between.
- 7. Soak both sides of Step 6 in Step 3.
- 8. Heat a pan, melt salted butter, cover with a lid until both sides of Step 7 are browned, and cook over medium heat.
- 9. Plate Step 8 on a plate, decorate with mesclun greens and cherry tomatoes, and it's ready to serve.
Tips for cooking
Please change the way of cutting sweet onion to your liking. It is also delicious if you slice it thinly, soak it in water and put tuna flakes sauce on the drained onion. If you are mincing it, cut it as finely as possible! Be careful not to burn it when cooking both sides!
