- Chinese noodles1 head(s)
- Hot wateras needed
- Noodle Soup
- Japanese leek10 cm
- Water100 ml
- Soy sauce1 tbsp
- Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)1 tbsp
- Roasted white sesame seeds1 tsp
- Japanese style granulated soup stock1/2 tsp
- Grated ginger1/2 tsp
- Grated garlic1/2 tsp
- Boiled egg1/2
- Char siu pork20 g
- Nori seaweedas needed
How to make
- Prepare. Heat Japanese sweet cooking wine (mirin) to let the alcohol evaporate and cool it.
- 1. Slice Japanese leek thinly.
- 2. Add the soup base (tsuyu) ingredients in a bowl and mix together. Cover with plastic wrap and chill in a refrigerator.
- 3. Bring a pot of water to a boil, boil the Chinese noodles according to the package description, drain, and cool under running water.
- 4. Place Step 2 and 3 on a plate. Put char siu (chashu) pork and boiled egg on the Chinese noodles, pour nori seaweed on top, and it's ready to serve.
Tips for cooking
For the saltiness, please adjust the amount of soy sauce to your liking.
