  • Sugar
    2 tsp
  • Salt
    a pinch
  • Salad oil
    1 tbsp
  • Nori seaweed
    7 sheets
  • Black roasted sesame seeds
    as needed

How to make

  1. 1. Beat the egg in a bowl, add sugar and salt, and mix well.
  2. 2. Heat a Japanese tamagoyaki omelet pan over medium heat, and spread cooking oil using a paper towel. Pour in half of Step 1 and cook over low heat.
  3. 3. Roll it from the back towards the front, push it towards the back, and spread cooking oil again.
  4. 4. Pour in the remaining Step 1 and roll it from the back towards the front. Once cooked, remove from the heat and place on a bamboo map with a paper towel under it.
