- Whitebait60 g
- Pancake mix150 g
- Milk80 ml
- Eggs1
- Green shiso leaves2 sheets
- Salad oil1 tsp
- Cheese Sauce
- Milk150 ml
- Shredded pizza cheeze80 g
- Cake flour (Pastry flour)1 tbsp
- Soy sauce1/2 tsp
- Salta pinch
How to make
- 1. Shred green shiso leaves.
- 2. Add pancake mix, milk, and an egg in a bowl and mix.
- 3. Spread a thin layer of cooking oil into a medium heated pan with a paper towel, add 1/4 of Step 2, and cook. When bubble starts to appear, flip it over and cook until cooked through, then remove from the heat. Cook 3 pieces in the same way.
- 4. Mix shredded pizza cheese and cake flour (pastry flour) together.
- 5. Heat the milk for cheese sauce in a saucepan over low heat, and when it starts to bubble, add Step 4 and salt, stir, add soy sauce for flavoring, and remove from the heat.
- 6. Arrange Step 3 on a plate, pour over Step 5, top with Step 1 and whitebait, and it's ready.
Tips for cooking
Please adjust the amount of salt to your taste. You can also enjoy it by pouring soy sauce or batter on whitebait.
