- Chicken thigh300 g
- Powdered cheese2 tbsp
- Cooking sake2 tsp
- Grated garlic1 tsp
- Green shiso leaves10 sheets
- (A)Japanese BBQ sauce (Yakiniku sauce)1 tbsp
- (A)Cooking sake1 tbsp
- (A)Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)1 tsp
- Salad oil1 tsp
- Roasted white sesame seeds1/2 tsp
How to make
- Prepare. Cut off the stem for green shiso leaves.
- 1. Cut chicken thigh into 10 equal pieces.
- 2. Add Step 1, cheese powder, cooking sake, and grated garlic to a bowl and rub well.
- 3. Once the flavors have blended, roll in green shiso leaves.
- 4. Add ingredient (A) in a separate bowl and mix together.
- 5. Place cooking oil in a medium heated pan and add Step 3. When one side is browned, flip it over, cover it with a lid, and cook for about 3 minutes until chicken thigh is cooked through.
- 6. When both sides are browned, continue to heat over medium heat, add Step 4, coat it, and remove from the heat when the flavors have blended.
- 7. Transfer to a plate, sprinkle with white roasted sesame seeds, and it's ready to serve.
Tips for cooking
You can substitute chicken breast for chicken thigh to enjoy it.
