- Stir fry noodles (Yakisoba)1 package(s)
- Water40 ml
- Japanese leek1/2
- Pork belly100 g
- (A)Sesame oil1 tbsp
- (A)Grated garlic1 tsp
- (A)Whole Japanese chili peppers (Takanotsume)1
- Salted rice malt (Shio-koji)1 tsp
- Green oniona pinch
How to make
- 1. Chop green onion (Japanese leek) into small pieces. Cut pork belly into bite-size pieces.
- 2. Heat (A) in a pan over medium heat. When garlic starts to get fragrant, add Step 1 and stir fry.
- 3. When one side of the pork belly is cooked, add stir fry noodles (yakisoba) and water.
- 4. After the noodles loosen, add salted rice malt (shio-koji) and mix well.
- 5. Arrange it on a plate and sprinkle green onion to complete the dish.
Tips for cooking
Adjust spiciness or the taste to your liking. You can substitute salt for shio-koji. You can also substitute to Chicken soup stock, but the flavor will change.
