- Shrimp300 g
- Batter
- Water2 tbsp
- Cake flour (Pastry flour)2 tbsp
- Starch1 tbsp
- Eggs1
- Sauce
- Japanese Mayonnaise100 g
- Condensed milk30 g
- Ketchup1 tbsp
- White pepperas needed
- Frying oilas needed
- Young green onion (Konegi)as needed
- Red-leaf lettuceas needed
How to make
- Prepare. Remove any prawns that have back cotton.
- 1. Add the batter ingredients in a bowl and mix with a whisk.
- 2. Dip the shrimp in Step 1 batter and deep-fry in 170°C (340°F) heated oil until golden brown.
- 3. Add the sauce ingredients to a bowl and mix together.
- 4. Toss Step 2 and Step 3, place it on a plate covered with red-leaf lettuce, sprinkle on young green onion (konegi), and it's ready to serve.
Tips for cooking
You can make with your favorite kinds of shrimps. For frying oil, pour about 1-inch to 2-inch depth of oil.
