- Hot water400 ml
- Japanese leek1/2
- Wakame seaweed2 g
- Wateras needed
- Hot water400 ml
- Thin fried tofu (Abura-age)1 sheets
- Japanese style granulated soup stock1 tsp
- Miso2 tsp
How to make
- Prepare. Remove the oil of thin fried tofu (abura-age) by pouring hot water or any other method.
- 1. Soak wakame seaweed into water as written on a package, drain the water, and pat dry.
- 2. Slice green onion (Japanese leek) into Koguchi (slice thinly). Cut aburaage into half horizontally and cut into 0.4-inch width.
- 3. Add Step 1 and Step 2 into boiled water and bring to a boil.
- 4. Once it's going to boil, add Japanese style granulated soup stock powder, add and dissolve miso, then remove from the heat.
- 5. Pour it in bowls and it's ready to serve.
Tips for cooking
It is lightly seasoned. Please adjust the amount of miso or Japanese style granulated soup stock to your taste. By thoroughly removing the oil from aburaage, the oiliness and the unique harsh taste will be removed, so you can enjoy it more deliciously.
