Tomato and Onion Miso Soup - Recipe Video

Ingredients 2 servings
- Tomato1
- Onion1/2
- Water400 ml
- Miso1/2 tbsp
- Japanese style granulated soup stock1 tsp
How to make
- 1. Thinly slice onions. Remove the stems from tomatoes and cut them into 8 equal wedges.
- 2. Add water to a pot and heat over medium heat. When water comes to a boil, add onions from Step 1 and simmer. When the onions are cooked, add tomatoes from Step 1 and Japanese style granulated soup stock and continue to simmer.
- 3. After it comes to a boil, add and dissolve miso, then remove from heat.
- 4. Serve in bowls and it's ready to eat.
Tips for cooking
Please adjust the seasoning to your taste. You can still cook nicely if you have substituted cherry tomatoes for tomatoes.
