- Ground pork200 g
- Japanese leek1/3
- (A)Chili bean sauce (Tobandjan)1 tbsp
- (A)Soy sauce1 tbsp
- Sesame oil1 tbsp
- (B)Black vinegar2 tsp
- (B)Chili Oil(La-yu)2 tbsp
- (B)White sesame paste2 tbsp
- (B)Soy sauce2 tbsp
- Sliced Japanese chili peppers (Takanotsume)2 tsp
- Toppings
- Egg yolk2
- Young green onion (Konegi)as needed
- Powdered Japanese pepper (Sansho power)as needed
- Whole Japanese chili peppers (Takanotsume)2
How to make
- 1. Follow the instructions on the package to heat and thaw frozen udon noodles in a microwave.
- 2. Chop Japanese leek.
- 3. Add sesame oil to the pan, add ground pork, and stir-fry over medium heat.
- 4. When the color changes, add Step 2 and (A) and stir-fry. When ground pork is cooked through and the flavors have blended, remove from the heat.
- 5. Add half of (B), sliced Japanese chili peppers (takanotsume), and Step 1 to each bowl and mix well.
- 6. Top with Step 4 and toppings and it's ready to serve.
