- Green shiso leaves5 sheets
- Spicy pollack roe40 g
- Hanpen fish cake1 sheets
- (A)Starch2 tsp
- (A)Sake2 tsp
- (A)Japanese Mayonnaise1 tbsp
- Salted butter10 g

- Green shiso leaves2 sheets

How to make
- Prepare. Cut off the stems of the green shiso leaves.
- 1. Slice the green shiso leaves into thin strips. Remove the skin of spicy pollack/cod roe (mentaiko) with a spoon.
- 2. In a bowl, tear and add Step 1, (A), and hanpen fish cake, mash and mix with your hands, once it gets smooth, make a 4 equal round shapes.
- 3. Heat salted butter in a pan over medium heat. When the batter starts melting, arrange the Step 2. Cook until golden brown on both sides and until cooked through, then remove from heat.
- 4. Arrange Step 3 on a plate, splash lemon, and it's ready to serve.
Tips for cooking
You can also use salted pollack/cod roe (tarako) to substitute mentaiko. *You must be of legal drinking age
