- Ground pork150 g
- Potato2
- Onion1/2
- Carrot1/2
- Water300 ml
- (A)Ponzu sauce2 tbsp
- (A)Japanese style granulated soup stock1 tsp
- Salad oil1/2 tbsp
- Young green onion (Konegi)as needed
How to make
- Prepare. Peel potatoes and remove the potato eyes and set aside. Peel carrots and set aside.
- 1. Cut potatoes into bite-sized pieces. Cut onion into 0.4-inch pieces. Chop carrot diagonally.
- 2. Place cooking oil in the heated pan over medium heat and stir-fry ground pork. When the color changes, add water and (A).
- 3. When it comes to a boil, add Step 1, cover with a lid, simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes until the potatoes are cooked through, then remove from heat.
- 4. Transfer to a bowl, sprinkle with young green onion (konegi), and it's ready to serve.
Tips for cooking
You can also substitute ground pork with ground chicken or ground beef and pork mix.
