- Chicken200 g
- (A)Soy sauce2 tbsp
- (A)Japanese sweet cooking wine (Mirin)2 tbsp
- (A)Grated ginger1/2 tsp
- Buns4
- Mustard2 tsp
- Green leaf lettuce2 sheets
- Japanese Mayonnaise1 tbsp
How to make
- Prepare. Wash the green leaves, drain well, and tear into bite-sized pieces.
- 1. Stab the skin of the chicken with a fork, flip it over, insert a knife into between the thick part of the meat, and cut it into 4 pieces.
- 2. Add Step 1 and ingredient (A) in a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, put in a refrigerator, and let it marinate for about 30 minutes.
- 3. Arrange 4 disposable chopsticks on a plate, place Step 2 chicken skin side down on top, and cover loosely with plastic wrap.
- 4. Heat Step 3 in a 600W microwave oven for 5 minutes, then cool.
- 5. Make a diagonal cut on the bun and spread mustard on the lower side.
- 6. Layer Step 5 with green leaves, Step 4 chicken, and Japanese mayonnaise, and it's ready to serve.
Tips for cooking
The cooking time does not include the marinating time of the chicken. When heating the chicken in the microwave, place disposable chopsticks underneath to float the meat. It can remove excess moisture and oil, allowing it to be heated clearely. In addition to buns, please make in bread of your choice such as sandwich bread. It is also delicious with cheese in between.
